Raven wrapped her own arm around him and took a nice deep breath. "I won't tell a soul." She promised and then kissed his chest.

Spot let out a satisfied sigh ad he drifted off to sleep. Maybe he could be a good father, he thought as sleep took hold of him.

Raven woke up on her side, she slowly opened her eyes, staring at the bassinet where Sean was sleeping. How long had she been sleeping? She had no idea...she just knew that it was a really long time. She immediately sat up and got out of bed, she looked into the bassinet, he was gone. She hurried out into the front rooms in a panic and then let out a relieved sigh when she saw Spot fast asleep on the couch with Sean held against his chest.
Of course her son was wide awake.
She smiled.

Spot was fast asleep, his son clutched to him as if his life depended on it. Even in sleeping he was trying to protect him

"Let's not wake daddy," She whispered to Sean and gently removed Spot's arm from around Sean, resting it at his side. Then she lifted Sean up slowly and placed him in the crook of her arm.
"Hungry?" She asked her baby boy and then kissed his forehead.

Spot stirred as he felt Sean leaving his arms. He slowly opened his eyes and looked at Rae and Sean through the corner of his eyes, "I wasn't sleeping....I was just resting my eyes."

"Sure," Raven said with a smile. She leaned over and kissed him softly on the lips. "Thank you," She said, still smiling at him. She held the back of Sean's head gently and then went to sit in the chair by the window.
"You're being so good today," She said to Sean as she opened the front of her shift and held him against her breast. It actually felt like a sort of release when he breastfed, sometimes they hurt so bad she couldn't wait for him to eat.

"You're welcome," Spot said, smirking as he sat up, running a hand through his hair, "How did you sleep?"

"It was the best sleep I've ever had," She said with a huge smile and looked up at him. "You two didn't do so bad either." She gently rubbed Sean's back as he ate his breakfast and rested her head against the back of the chair.
"You can go in the bedroom and get another hour or so of sleep, he should be content for awhile."

Spot was about to leave but stopped himself, watching Rae, feeling especially close to her in the moment.
"Let's get married," He said, watching her closely for a reaction.

Raven laughed at first and then when she realized that Spot wasn't joking she just stared at him. She stood up as set Sean down gently in his cradle before turning back to him.
"You're serious?" She asked him raising an eyebrow. "Oh my God..." She gaped at him a little longer and then said. "Yes! Yes yes yes!" She wrapped her arms around him tight hug.
