Ershey looked at Mush in confusion. What did she do that made him act this way? She opened her mouth to ask what was wrong but decided against it. She didn't want to make him more uncomfortable than he already looked like he was.
"Um, er... alright, I'll be over right over there," said Ershey hesitantly, making her way back to her previous spot, shouting this time about a train on train collision.

Mush carried on this way for about 45 more minutes, selling about a quarter or so of his papers. He made his way over to Ershey, hoping he didn't act a fool.
"Hey, Ersh. How ya doin'?"

Surprised to suddenly hear Mush's voice, Ershey turned around to face him. She was holding on to her last paper and almost done selling.
"I'm alright," she said, trying to gauge how his behavior was this time. She can never really tell with Mush sometimes. "Got one more. H-how are you?"

Mush smiled at her, trying to ignore the nervous feeling in his stomach.
"I'm alright, too." Once they were more alone and not focused on selling papes, he would tell her, explain why he sometimes got so weird around her. "You wanna go get some more?"

"How about I grab some more until you're done sellin' yours?" she said, glancing at the stack of papers he still had left. That, and she really didn't want to go anywhere else. It was fun selling here and being with Mush.

"How 'bout this...?" He took a handful of his papes and gave them to her.
Before she could object, Mush walked back to his spot and yelled about a man in Queens who had a baby.

Before she knew it, Ershey was holding Mush's papes. She looked at him in surprise before running off after him.
"But, hey! These are yours!" she said, grabbing his arm as he shouted a headline. "It's your money, not mine, Mush."

"What?" He asked, sounding genuinely confused. "No, those are yours. Go sell 'em! Come on! Time's a'wastin'!"

Seeing as how Mush wasn't going to budge, Ershey shook her head at him and sighed. "Ok, fine. But I'm giving you the money I make from them!" she shouted as she ran back to her spot. Oh that boy, he was always full of surprises.

After another half hour or so, Mush had finished selling. He thought it was probably a new record, but then again, he did have less papes...
He walked up to Ershey, a bashful smile on his face. "So, you finished?"

Ershey smirked at him, holding out the coins on her hand for him to take. "Here you go. And you take it, I don't care what you say."

Mush took one of the coins and put it in his pocket. Tag had patched up the hole last night, so he had no worries about the coin falling out.
"The rest you can use to buy me food at Tibby's."

Ershey was ready to retort but saw that there was no use. She smiled, shaking her head at him. "You're sneaky, y'know that? Alright, I'm fine with that. As long as I'm not the one serving you this time."

Mush chuckled, turning to walk to Tibby's.
"Y'know, I've never been called sneaky before. I've been called a lot of other things, but never sneaky. That's a first."

"Well, you did get me to sell the rest of your papes and have a meal with you here at Tibby's. I think you're pretty sneaky," she said teasingly as they entered Tibby's.
