[Gypsy]

"Well, I'm so sorry for having fucking feelings. I know it a shock, but even Gypsy, the cold-hearted bitch, has them occasionally." She frowned moving over to stand by the edge, hugging her arms around herself.

[Corsair]

He sighed and ran his hand over his face, "Did I say that?" He asked pinning the back of her head with a stare. Letting out a breath he moved over and tugged her back from the ledge. "You're one of the people that matter most to me, so don't be stupid."

[Gypsy]

"I'm not being stupid, Cor. You know I'm not. I'm just tellin' you how I feel." She frowned, looking out over the ledge, even as he pulled her back. She wondered if people would ever learn how to fly. She wondered what that kind of freedom felt like.

[Corsair]

Looking up at the sky he prayed that God actually cared to grant a sinner like him patience as he set his hands on her shoulders and held her there. He had thinking to do about what she said, "You always tell me how ya feel.. .loudly if I'm not payin attention.."

[Gypsy]

She wouldn't look at his face. "It never really mattered before."

[Corsair]

He didn't want to look at hers either this was a bit out of his comfort zone. He'd never say he lied but he sure as hell was never totally honest. "and it matters right now."

[Gypsy]

She nodded faintly, sighing. "Don't fucking ask me why, because I don't know. But it does. It matters."

[Corsair]

He turned her around so her back was facing his front and he let her look out while he tried to figure out what to do, though his arms were on her shoulders. "Then it matters. I'm not sayin' they don't Gen." He didn't mind an argument or a fight, really they did some pretty good arguing but he knew she was right. "You're just realizin all this now.."

[Gypsy]

"Maybe I am. Maybe I always knew, and just didn't pay attention. I don't know." She sighed, leaning back into him, tilting her head back a little to rest it against his shoulder.

[Corsair]

He didn't say anything, letting the smoke between his fingers hang there for a moment before he took another drag, his hand wasn't shaking though he thought it was. He sighed and thought about it, his Da would have said that this girl was one of a kind. His mother would have reamed them both. His lips curved just a bit and he held her in silence for a time. "We got time."

[Gypsy]

She wasn't so sure. In the life they lead, the life they lived...often, they didn't have as much time as they thought. No one ever wanted to think about that though. Not even Gypsy. "I know."

[Corsair]

They didn't always have time, he knew that but he just let it go and set his chin on her head, "Got some time to think about it Gen, no reason to rush now." Not to mention Cor was just as bad about doing everything in his own time as a variety of people.

[Gypsy]

She took his arms and wrapped them tighter around her, settling back against his embrace. "It's alright, Cor. Just...stay with me like this a minute."

[Corsair]

He did, nodding his head as she let her settle against him. They'd think about it, they'd deal with whatever she was feeling and whatever he didn't want to recognize. He was attached sure, she was one of the most important people in his life but he never evaluated feelings. They were there and move on... she wanted him too and that made him uneasy.

[Gypsy]

She closed her eyes a minute, just wanting to take advantage of the moment, the feeling of this. Because there was a nagging feeling deep in her gut that she wouldn't ever get to keep this feeling.
