From what I understand, one of Spot's righthand men, Sammy, betrayed him and tried to take over. Spot and his other righthand man, Tristan, chased Sammy off along with everyone who was loyal to him, but Sammy's now been sighted in the Bronx, even though he was supposed to leave town. Specifically, he was sighted by Race, who told Jack, who went to Brooklyn to tell Spot. So Spot and Tristan and Spot's girlfriend, Raven, are super on edge, and Jack and Race are about to get mixed up in it.
I had no part in the original plans for this, so if I got things wrong or left things out, please correct/elaborate! ^_^
