"Course, Gran was a genius, Jack Jack," And Fae was a bright one, she grinned at her friend and picked apart her hot dog. "She always said that-- a million princesses had been kissed.. because the story needed to be told and someone had ta do it."

Jack smiled at her, he was a little envious. He'd never had anyone like that. He'd had to figure everything out on his own.

Fae knew she'd been lucky and therefore didn't take anything for granted as it stood. Her family was very important to her-- her friends, the ones she loved. And because of that she tried her best with everything she did. She wanted to make the ones that were gone proud, not mourn and grieve over them being gone.

Jack was silent as he thought about the family he'd had. His mother was probably good, he didn't really remember. She'd passed away when he was so small. He just remembered she smelled like vanilla. His father however, was mean...and he belonged in jail which is exactly where he was.
