She touched his cheek with her fingers, she'd done it a lot since they'd met but she actually smiled a bit. "Guess I'll just have ta suffer it then, aye, Niko?" She liked his name, the way it sounded and how his nearness made her feel, all warm and tingly all over.

She looked down at their hands and then back up at him, "I think I'd like ta hear your ma's stories.." And she'd tell Pie more of hers, she smiled back at him-- unable to help it. It felt like she was gaining something big. So big... it made her heart swell.

She swatted at his hand much like a kitten getting too much attention, a chuckle on her lips. "Aye stop it, I'm not skinny!" She didn't eat much but boy did she love her sweets. The idea of a home cooked meal made her miss her gran and she nodded. "Would be nice for home cooked food though, aye?"

He put his arm around her shoulders, letting her rest against him, and grinned down at her. This felt nice, comfortable and affectionate. He was surprised how much he liked it.
