Erin kissed them both goodbye.
"will you be here when I get home?" Mikey asked Erin. Sometimes she was, sometimes she wasn't. It confused him.
"maybe Mikey. Hopefully." she waved Goodbye.

Tristan dropped Mikey off at school and then went to work, once shut up in his office he called Erin.
"sorry, this couldn't wait." he explained when she answered.

"what the hell is going on?" Erin asked, locking up his house and heading to her car. As she walked down the porch and to the driveway she stopped when she noticed a woman she didn't know standing there, leaning against her junky car.
"can I help you?" Erin asked, slowly removing her phone from her ear and getting out her car keys. Tr woman has parked in the way of Erin getting to her own car.

"Nancy called me earlier. That's who was on the phone. I gotta do something to keep her away from the house, from Mikey...from you..." Tristan said, "Who're you talking to?"
"Erin?"

Erin slipped the phone into her back pocket and glared at, who she assumed was Mikey's real mom. She crossed her arms over her chest.
"you are in my way."

Nancy glared back at her, "well you're living in my boyfriends house..." she shrugged her shoulders.

"And I raised your kid. I guess we're all a little annoyed, huh?" Erin shoved past her and reached for her car door.

"Hey!" Nancy grabbed her arm and pulled her back to face her. "I'm talking to you! Who the hell do you think you are?"
Tristan was on his way out of the office, he grabbed his helmet and then ran out to his bike. Once on it, he revved it up and then sped off toward the house.

Erin blinked at her, not sure why she was so shocked that she was asking. "I don't know," she told her, crossing her arms over her chest. "Contact DHS. If they give you information than so will I."

"Listen I want to know right now where the hell my kid is!" Nancy yelled at her and pushed her back against the car.
Thankfully Tristan pulled up at that moment, "Nancy!" He yelled at her, and then pulled the helmet off his head.

"Yeah, shove the social worker who takes care of Mikey's case," Erin snapped. "that'll get you to Mikey sooner." Erin rolled her eyes and put sunglasses on her eyes.
