"Yeah it is," He said with a smile, "But it's for after dinner, alright?" Tristan said with a knowing smirk. This was the first time he'd been this close up to him before. For Tristan is was almost like he was looking at himself as a four year old. He almost wished he'd brought a picture. He cleared his throat, "It's cookies and cream."

Mikey gasped. "My favorite!" he grinned at Erin. Erin chuckled and put him down. He stared up at Tristan as Erin went back to mixing dinner.
"Who are you?"

Tristan glanced at Erin. He set down the shoebox and the ice cream on the kitchen table and then turned back to Mikey. He crouched down in front of him. Tristan knew he was tall and quite large and that he could be scary to a little boy as small as Mikey.
"Well...I'm your father," He said, trying to sound calm. Erin had probably never even told the kid he had a father.

Erin kept her eye on the pair as she grabbed the ice cream and put it in the freezer.
"My father? Like, my dad?" he blinked at Tristan, a bit confused.
Erin stepped in. "Yeah, Mikey. He's your daddy."
"Are you a king? Rapenzel's mom and dad were king and queen." Mikey pointed out. Erin chuckled awkwardly.
"I just bought 'Tangled'. It's a movie, he's obsessed with it." she explained.

Tristan laughed, "No, kid. I ain't a king but that would be nice huh? Living in a big castle and having everything you want all the time." He smiled at him. Tristan glanced up at Erin.
"I know what Tangled is. Lots of my buddies have kids," He said with a laugh. "So, Tangled huh? You wanna be like Flynn one day?"

Mikey nodded. "He's badass!" Erin gasped, and glared at Mikey.
"MICHAEL SHAMIEN!" she put her hand to her hip and gave him a stern look.
"I'm sorry! Freddy said that when he was over here watching!"

Tristan immediately started laughing, "You need to watch your mouth," He reached out and mussed his blonde hair. He looked at Erin, "So, he's still got my last name?" He was a little surprised at that.

"Well he's a ward of the state. And that's his name on his birth certificate." Erin explained, scooping up mashed potatoes, lasagna, and green beans onto plates and putting them on the table.
"Want something to drink?" she asked Tristan, opening up her fridge. "I have Gatorade, milk, and apple juice."

"Gatorade'll work," he said and then looked back to Mikey. "So tellm, what other stuff do ya like?" He took a seat at the kitchen table and turned the chair to face Mikey. He rested his elbows on his knees and leaned over expectantly.

"How do you fix them?" Mikey asked as Erin handed him a glass of milk and a fork. "Eat your green beans or no ice cream."
She finally sat down herself, sighing and eating.

"A lot of times it's like a puzzle, you have to figure out what piece isn't fitting together. Sometimes it's something really obvious though," Tristan smiled at him and then ate a green bean for good measure. "Yum." He hated green beans. ((LOL))

Erin glanced at Tristan with a smile. She was impressed and pretty amused by him.
"Cool!" Mikey said. "are you Erin's new boyfriend?"
Erin coughed shaking her head. "No, Mikey, Tristan is here to get to know you."

Tristan's eyes widened and he blinked before looking at Erin and then shaking his head. "No No No. I'm here for you okay? Honestly...I can't see you unless someone is in the room with me." He told Mikey with a sigh. "So Erin's being nice enough to let me have dinner with you'se."
