God, this was a mess. He hated not knowing what to do -- he was tempted to offer to go with Piper to Priest, but that was crazy. The kind of persuasion that Piper had on the boss was not something Monday wanted to be a part of, and even if that sort of thing didn't happen, he'd hardly be much help to her.
