"Thanks, Risk," he said. It wasn't often he was grateful, but Risk had really given him things to think about. There weren't many in the world who would stick their necks out for somebody like Monday Corelli, and he was certainly appreciative. "When I get it worked out, I'll tell you."

"Good luck," he smiled, patting him on the back before realizing that his horse won. He grinned widely and stood up to collect his winnings. "Just don't end up in a ditch, alright?"

"Can't make any promises," Monday said with a smirk. "See you around, Risk." He touched his forehead in salute, swallowed the last of his beer, and got to his feet.
