"Really? No one showed up?" smirked Risk, looking at the three newsies.
"Wait, hey, did I miss it?" yelled Specs as he ran towards the field. He stopped, caught his breath and looked at them in confusion. "Why aren't you all playing?"
"'Cause they haven't even started," chuckled Ershey.

"Great! I thought I was gonna miss it," he grinned, slapping Pie in the back as if he hadn't seen him for ages.
"...Do you have enough people or should I play?" asked Ershey uncertainly.
Risk rolled his eyes. "Aw, c'mon, Ersh, it's just us anyway."

Bumlets got off of his duff and came over-- seeing their resident story teller running past him, catching a hold of Jack's jacket to stop herself when she finally managed it. "Aye! I'm here sorry got caught up---"
The gypsy laughed, "And good afternoon Miss Fae, didn't know you were playing."
"Well I don' mind playin... can't letcha all beat me can I?" she grinned and tilted her head, giving Pie a smile. "Lookin' fine today." She wasn't sure how they were handling this with everyone else... but she grinned anyway. "So, we playin?"

"Yep! I think we're ready to go and if anybody else shows up we'll just toss 'em in. Time for teams!" Jack said. He was like a four year old. Itching with excitement at the thought of playing.

Bumlets waved his hand with a laugh and nodded over to Specs, "Let 'im do it you know how much I hate leading.." More of a loner than a leader.
Fae grinned back at Pie before folding her arms. "Wait wait... taken' just the boys Jack Jack? That's not right..." She was getting a bit feisty but not really. "Ersh an' I can do just as well as you blokes can."

Risk happily bounced over next to Jack, quite proud that he was chosen already. Ershey simply rolled her eyes at him and nudged Fae playfully. "Yeah! We'll beat ya!"
"Alright," laughed Specs. "Bumlets, Fae and Ershey with me, then?"
