"Oh... Well..." Tag cleared her throat, trying to push her nerves away. "I met him the other day, and we got on quite well. Then, we went to the zoo, and I had such a lovely time. But... I also met another newsie, Specs. We met in the library, so we obviously have that in common. And then I saw him in Central Park and he invited me to Irving Hall. Which is where Leo also works. And it seems... Well, I guess they both have... Feelings? For me?"
It was still so hard for Tag to believe that one guy, let alone two guys, would have feelings for her. At the same time.

"But, I don't want to... How do you say... String them along." Tag wasn't used to all this kind of talk. She had barely noticed boys before she had been forced to live in the same house with 15 or so of them.
"I'm starting to think I should just go back to keeping to myself. And never talk to a boy again."

"Don't be ridiculous. Just be friends with them. Tell them exactly that, 'I don't wanna string you along, but I like you as a friend, let's go get a beer. I'm buying.' Gee, thanks Taggy, that's awfully kind of ya! 'No problem!' ...See? Why should you lose a couple of friends just because they have love... Or libidos... Libidos," she settled on.

That was Tag's problem. She didn't want anyone to be unhappy or hurt in anyway. She was too nurturing and compassionate for her own good.
"I'll talk to them, though. Not at the same time, of course." At this, a small smile came across her face.

Tag let out a huge sigh, though she felt better after having told someone. She hadn't seen Zippy lately except at night and in the mornings. They both went through busy times, so she wasn't worried. They would catch up, soon.
