"What're you talkin' about?!" He asked, exaggeratedly offended. "I'm just proud of my hard work. I mean, come on, you felt that muscle. It was hard as a rock! That wasn't easy!"
Mush was so glad he was able to play around like this with someone other than Blink and Racetrack. They didn't seem to appreciate his muscles like Ershey did.

"As you should be! But you keep on showin' off to me and I'll be as red as a tomato!" she chuckled, peeking at him between her fingers. She was determined to keep her hand over her face, embarrassed by how red her face was turning.

Mush laughed and put an arm around Ershey, squeezing her to his side. With his other hand he ruffled her hair playfully.
"I been blushin' so much 'round you, I figure it's your turn now."

"Hey!" she squealed, once Mush began to play with her hair. Ershey cuddled nearer to his shoulder, her face still covered by her hands. "I'm sure I've never made you turn this red before! You just wanna show off!"

"That could be true..." Mush said, ceasing to ruffle her hair. He kissed one of her fingers covering her face.

With the way Mush was going, she was sure she'd be red the whole day. Giving up, she ran her fingers through her hair in an effort to fix it and finally looked at him in the eye. "You're just too hard to resist," she said softly, smiling.

"Good. That's what I was goin' for." He said, a twinkle in his eye. He leaned in and kissed her lips softly, his heart skipping a beat.

Ershey felt her heart race once Mush's lips touched hers. She gently kissed him back, still high off of laughing from earlier. It was the best she'd felt in days and wanted it to last as long as possible. She just hoped no one would suddenly decide to visit the attic.

"Thanks," she said softly before smirking. "Well, y'know, it's my secret weapon." She loved teasing him and it was slowly becoming a habit of hers.

"Well, that's good to know." Mush replied. He wanted Ershey to think he was teasing, but he actually wasn't. He was glad she wasn't the type of girl who had lots of boyfriends. ((No worries! Hopefully I can sleep a little later tomorrow anyways  )) |
