Tip toeing, Adri leaned in to return his kiss, smiling against his lips. She pulled back, unable to wipe the smile off of her face.
"I, uh... I'll see you tomorrow? Maybe?"

"Definitely." Teddy replied, returning her smile with full force.
He hesitantly walked down her steps, across the street, and into his own apartment. He couldn't wait for work tomorrow.

((Gnight!  ) Work went by slower than she had expected. Not that she was complaining, of course, she loved what she did but she couldn't help but look forward to visiting Teddy once she was off work. Grabbing her purse and waving good-bye to her colleagues, Adri bounded out on the street, trying her best to remember which fitness center Teddy worked at. Once she found it, Adri walked inside, heading straight for the receptionist and asking about their pilates classes. |

Teddy had been in his office most of the day handling all the boring things that no one else wanted to. The perk was that he could see straight into the lobby from his desk, so he would know when Adri came in... That wasn't creepy, though, was it?
Thought of creepiness rushed from his head the moment he saw her, though. He darted out there and relieved the receptionist, even though Adri was still in the middle of asking about pilates classes.
"How can I help you, ma'am?"

Ershey was mid-sentence, asking about prices for the pilates classes as she looked down at the brochure that the receptionist gave her. Once she looked up, her eyes widened and she broke out into a loud laugh. "Teddy! You came outta nowhere!" she said, smiling at him. "See? Told you that I'd show up."

"Nowhere being my office right there." He said, pointing at the window behind him.
"So, there's a class in 10 minutes. Not full yet. You really interested?" He was already looking the class up on the computer so he could sign her up.

"You're sneaky," replied Adri, shaking her head at him. Once she heard his last comment, however, she couldn't help but look at him in surprise.
"Now? I don't have anything with me and I just came from the office. Not unless you have spare clothes for me." Now, that'd be interesting.
((Oh, and I have an idea for a new Mush/Ershey thread in 1899. Let me know when you want me to start it!))

Adri glanced over at the store, wondering whether she should spend the extra money for a spontaneous pilates class.
"Alright, fine," she finally said after a couple moments. "But I'm only buying on sale stuff. I'm cheap like that."

"Adri, come on..." Teddy rolled his eyes and walked around to the front of the counter. "When you're with me, everything's on sale. 70% off."
He took her elbow and led her into the store, not willing to take 'No' for an answer.

"Teddy, you're not serious!" said Adri under her breath, surprised that he even said something like that out loud. "You won't make money!"

Teddy just didn't reply. He pushed her toward the women's section and went over to the cashier, pointing her out so he would know to use his discount when she checked out.

"Teddy!" she yelled out over at him as he walked away. Knowing that she wasn't going to win, Adri picked out red gym shorts and a black racerback tank top along with flipflops just for good measure. Thing was, she managed to find them all in the sale section.
"Here you go," said Adri, handing it over to him as she walked over to the counter.

"Red's a good color for you." He really had no idea if it was or not, but he liked the color and he liked her. So why not?
He handed the clothes to the cashier who rung them up in no time.
"Your total is $2.54."

"Thanks," she grinned, glad that she didn't have to spend too much. Glancing at the clock, Adri gave him a wave, running off to the locker room to change. She came back out in about two minutes, fully dressed in her workout clothes as she rushed over to the pilates class, catching the first few minutes of it. ((Let's put this on pause for now and do the decisions thread? ) |
