A smile actually came across Teddy's face as he watched her leave. He was a lucky guy.
Then, he went back to his computer and tried not to get too stressed out.

Once Adri reached the burger place, she picked out the biggest hamburger for Teddy (of course!), asked for an extra slice of a burger pattie and a sundae for her. She didn't care that she was missing pilates for the day. All she cared was that Teddy was feeling better at the end of the day.
With the takeout bag in one hand and her sundae in another, Adri gently knocked on Teddy's office door and smiled at him brightly.

"You are an angel." He said, standing up and taking the bag from her. He could smell the burger and his mouth started watering. Lucy could smell it, too, apparently, as she had woken up and started wagging her tail.
"Really. A goddess." He leaned and planted a firm kiss on her lips.

Adri smiled against his lips, pulling back a couple of seconds later. "Really? Continue," she smirked, teasing. She placed the food on the table, taking the hamburger pattie and crouching down to feed a very excited Lucy.
"Do you need me to take her for tonight?" asked Adri as she watched Lucy happily eat the hamburger. "Y'know, so you can get work done?"

Teddy was torn. He wanted to establish a routine with Lucy, and sending her home with another person might be too confusing for her. Plus, he didn't want Lucy to like Adri better. But, on the other hand, he was going to be working pretty late...
"Yeah, you can. You can even sleep at my place since she feels comfortable there already. But, y'know, you don't have to."

"I just don't want Lucy to get confused. But you don't have to. If it'd be too weird or something." He was blushing, his eyes now fixed on his computer screen.

"Uh, yeah..." started Adri, wondering whether it'd be a good idea or not. Then again, they were finally official so it shouldn't be anything out of the ordinary. Couples do it all the time.
"Sure," she finally said after a couple moments. She shrugged, smiling. "For Lucy, of course. I'll just wait for you there, then?"

"Honestly, I have no idea how long it'll take to sort everything out." He replied with a small sigh.
"You don't have to wait up. Just make sure to take Lucy out before you go to bed."

"Of course," she smiled reassuringly. "Just do what you need to do. We'll be fine."
With that, she grabbed her things and anything else that Teddy handed to her to take care of Lucy. "I'll see you later," she said, giving him a quick kiss on the cheek before finally leaving his office.

Once he saw Adri had safely left the building with Lucy in tow, he went back to his computer and resumed working.
...He had finally finished (he was pretty sure, at least). He looked at his watch and almost had a benign heart attack. It was 1 o'clock in the morning. That was just wrong. He gathered up his stuff and drove back to his place. He unlocked the door and entered as quietly as he could, not wanting to wake Lucy up and cause her to bark incessantly.

After Adri left Teddy's office, she made her way back towards her apartment. Instead of rushing back home, she took her time, letting Lucy walk around as much as she wanted before heading back. Changing into something more comfortable and finishing off her dinner, Adri finally headed over to Teddy's place with Lucy, who barked excitedly the minute they were near the door.
Doing exactly what Teddy told her, Adri didn't have too much trouble with Lucy. With Lucy in her doggie bed, Adri snuggled on the couch, watching anything interesting before finally falling asleep.

Teddy walked soundlessly over to the couch, picking up the remote and turning the TV off. He was debating whether or not he should wake her up...

Adri shifted in her sleep, slightly confused that she couldn't hear the TV anymore. Blinking her eyes open, she realized that Teddy was standing in front of her. Smiling, she stretched to sit up on the couch.
