Adri simply nodded as she stood up from the couch, still a bit too disoriented to piece everything together. Following Teddy towards the bedroom, she rubbed her eyes, only now realizing where she was.
"Just got home?" she murmured, still half asleep.

Teddy chuckled, guiding her into the bedroom before heading into the bathroom to change and brush his teeth.
"Unfortunately, yes."

Adri crawled onto the bed, hugging the closest pillow she could find and curling up like she did on the couch. "I took Lucy for a walk... and she's fed and everything too," she said loud enough for Teddy to hear.

"Thank you so much." He said, throwing his shirt on the floor and stepping into his plaid PJ pants. He quickly brushed his teeth, noticing that Lucy was awake and sitting just outside the bathroom, watching him and wagging her tail.
He went into his bedroom, Lucy at his heels, and fell onto it. Lucy jumped up and settled down at his feet, falling asleep almost immediately.

Feeling the bed move, Adri naturally moved closer to Teddy, replacing the pillow with his arm. "You owe me," she teased, her eyes already closed and ready for sleep.

"Mmm." Teddy replied. That was the most he could manage before falling victim to a deep slumber.

Thankful for her internal clock, Adri woke up right on time to get ready for work. Stretching, she rolled over to realize that she wasn't in her bedroom and that Teddy was right next to her. Smirking, she poked him on the arm, wondering whether he was still sound asleep.

Laughing softly, Adri reached over and kissed him on the nose. She wondered whether he had food in the fridge so that she could make some breakfast.

Teddy was admittedly less of a man during two circumstances: 1) When he was really tired, and 2) when he was sick. Obviously, he was the former.
He woke up once Adri left, taking a couple moments to remember the situation. "Adri?" He called out, sleep still apparent in his voice.

Bacon and eggs sizzling on the pan, Adri vaguely heard Teddy's voice. Turning the stove off, she walked over to his bedroom and leaned on the door frame. "Yes?"
