"It's grocery day," Tristan said, he glanced at Mikey who was asleep with his head on Nevada's shoulder. "They never leave the apartment so she has to feed them."

Nevada raised her eyebrows before laughing. 'wow.' she said shaking her head in disbelief.

Tristan sighed heavily. "I was hoping you'd just let that go," He flopped down on the couch in the lobby. "I knew something wasn't right, I could feel it...when I got back to Irving Hall and Spot saw me he knew too. We tracked them, Blue and Rae," he looked down at his scuffed up shoes. "Spot didn't make it back to Brooklyn with here, there was a fight in the street, Me, Race, Sammy, Hunter...Rae's at the hospital."

Nevada sat beside him. 'you're silly if you thought I wouldn't ask for an explanation on your being stabbed,'Nevada pointed out.
'Raes in the hospital? Is she okay??' Nevada asked worriedly, 'was she hurt pretty bad?'

"Yea...she's pretty bad," Tristan said quietly, "When I left she was just laying there, out cold, all white..." He looked up at Nevada. "Spot's with her."

Nevada bit her lip. It didn't sound good for Rae.
'we should go visit her!' Nevada said nervously. What if she didn't make it?

Nevada shrugged, 'maybe....but sometimes there are things that are so bad you don't recover from.' Nevada said softly, 'I hope she recovers....mentally and physically.'

"She'll be fine," Tristan said and he prayed that it was true otherwise Spot was going to have a mental breakdown for sure.
Tristan wasn't sure if he should explain exactly what happened to her, if he could even wrap his head around it really.
"We'll go see her tomorrow," Was all he said, maybe Rae would tell Nevada on her own time.
