Raven was slowly coming to, she could hear voices around her, but they were muffled, slow sounding. Her eyes felt so heavy, like she had barely slept at all, yet she had the feeling she'd been sleeping for a long time. Everyone sounded worried.
There was a dull ache in her lower stomach and she knew why. Raven didn't know if she wanted to open her eyes, but she knew she had to. It was so nice lingering there in the dark void for awhile, that place between sleep awake, knowing that you're finally waking up.
How long had she actually been asleep for? A day, maybe too? She could feel the heaviness of her limbs setting in now. She knew she was curled up in a ball on her side, squeezed together as tightly as she could manager. She felt her mind coming back. She started to remember what had happened and she wished she hadn't.
Raven wanted to stay right where she was, lingering in the middle ground, but she knew she had to open her eyes. Raven managed to open her brown eyes.

"Raven?" Spot whispered from his seat next to her bed, watching her eyes flicker. He reached for her hand.
He had been watching her sleep for two days and seeing her awake- it was like a new boost in energy for him.

She knew he'd be there, of course he would. Raven wrapped her hand around his tight.
"You look terrible," She said hoarsely, she managed a slight smile.

"Are you saying I don't look sexy with my shiner and fat lip?" Spot joked, bringing her hand up to his mouth to kiss it. "Oh baby, I'm so glad you are awake," he said softly, reaching to stroke her cheek.

"I could get used to it," Raven licked her lips. "Course I woke up," She said, like it was impossible to believe that she wouldn't. "Help me sit up." She was uncomfortable and growing more and more anxious.

"Okay, just a little though," Spot answered, reaching for a pillow to put it behind her and helping her up. He sat down on the edge of her bed.
"Raven, Hunter's dead."

"I think I knew that already," She whispered, looking into his eyes. She had so many mixed feelings about that. "Everyone else okay?" Raven asked.

Spot shook his head. "I don't know. Tristan disappeared. I've sent guys out looking for him, hopefully he'll show up soon. Sammy got away."

"Is Race okay?" Instantly she was worried for him. She remembered Racetrack helping her, she remembered him carrying her somewhere.

Spot nodded. "Yeah, he got you outta there." Spot hesitated, and reached for her hand again, bringing it to his lips.
"Rae, how come you didn't tell me you were pregnant? Especially...when Blue stabbed you in the-" He couldn't even bring himself to say it.

Raven felt the tears well up in her eyes immediately and she tried to push them back.
"You had so much shit going on...how much more could you really handle? Besides I'd practically just figured it out." With her free hand she wiped a tear that fell.
