Kid Blink stretched out his calves, counting to ten with the left and then the right. He touched his toes and straightened back up into jumping jacks. He cracked his knuckles, then his back, and finally his neck.
He was ready.
It all started last night when Cowboy was running his mouth on being the best seller in the lodge. This information was met with much skepticism and it escalated to a wager.
The boy who won got everyone's earnings for the day, minus pay for board of course.
If Blink got all that money, oh man...

"What the hell are you doing?" Jack asked Blink, looking at him with a raised brow, arms crossed over his chest. Kid looked like he was training for the Olympics or something.

"Uh...no you're not and the hat ain't for sale," Jack said, slipping it onto his head. "Please stop doing that..." Blink had so much energy for one person, meanwhile Jack just liked to be laid back and relaxed. Sometimes he needed a break from everyone, lately he hadn't been very social.
