Ryan simply smirked as she continued to follow close behind. Knowing that any sort of banter between them would be temporarily over, he kicked his horse into a gallop, passing her as he went full speed. ((Haha! Okay! Ooh what color?))

((purple with pink glitter on top!))
"Show off." Lillian muttered, narrowing her eyes at him.
After ten or fifteen minutes of riding peacefully, Lillian met up with Ryan yet again. By complete accident, of course.
"I suppose you'll be attending our house party tonight." She said, sounding like she really wished he wasn't.

((Cute!!))
Ryan smirked, slowing down his horse's gallop to a trot. "And why might you be asking?" he said, turning to look at her.

((LOL I bought the purple at that school thing I was telling you about where the grade 7 kids set up stalls. It was 3 rand - and 7 rand equals $1 - so really cheap. And you can tell! Haha))
"So I can keep alert and avoid you immediately when I see you." She replied sweetly, smiling her fakest smile over at him.
((By the way, I have a plan for this house party... It involves being locked in the pantry together. Muahaha.))

"Ah, of course," said Ryan knowingly before winking at her. "You have to plan your routes and exits just to be sure."
((NICE. I love it when you can get things for a bargain!))

Lillian was about to nod her assent before she thought of something.
"No!" She cried. "I shouldn't be avoiding anyone in my own house. You should be the one avoiding me!"
She hopped off of Kingston to allow him to rest and graze in the meadow they'd stopped in.

Ryan smirked. "Like I said earlier, you talk to me," he said, pointing a gloved finger at her before hopping off of his horse as well. "Just admit it, you like being around me."

"I most certainly do not. You like being around me." She crossed her arms over her chest, taking a very stubborn stance.

"Who stopped riding her horse to talk to me?" he smirked, moving closer to look at her in the eye.

"You seriously flatter yourself too much." She said, turning to stroke Kingston's mane as he chomped away on the grass.
"Try not to embarrass yourself too much at the party. Not only for my sake, but your own." Okay, that might have been a bit harsh...

"Excuse me?" muttered Ryan, raising an eyebrow at her.

"You and your obnoxious American manners." She said, trying to hide the guilt in her voice. She shouldn't feel guilty for insulting him.

"My manners are fine, thank you," he said, rolling his eyes at her. "Don't try to forget that I was nothing but nice to you when I first arrived here."

"Right. If you can call criticizing my every move being nice." She retorted. Lillian had finally had enough for today. She mounted Kingston, taking the reins tightly in her hands.
"Now, if you'll excuse me, I have a house party - and many eligible, handsome aristocrats - to get ready for tonight." She dug her heels underneath Kingston's back legs and he sped off toward the stables.

Ryan simply shook his head, smiling as he watched her make her way back to the stables. He didn't mind the usual banter they had but he secretly wanted to have a normal conversation with her, if that was even possible. Figuring he could do nothing about it, he took his time to walk his horse back to the stables, anticipating tonight's house party.
((Are you staying on for a bit longer? I'm running out to grab food!))
