((Yeah, I should be here!!)) Later that evening, guests had already arrived and taken up residence in the many spare bedrooms of the spacious Wellsley manor. Lillian's father was an Earl, so obviously, her family was one of the richest in the country. She was decked out in her favorite party attire; a dark red silk dress with long sleeves and her hair pinned up in elaborate plaits. ((Totally channeling 2005 Pride & Prejudice - www.janeausten.info/moviegowns/PandP2005/Caroline2005/credgownsleeve2.jpg )) She smiled as she greeted the incoming guests, bowing and extending her hand graciously.

Ryan walked inside the Wellsley manor with his parents and siblings next to him. As the eldest, he greeted the hosts first with his younger brothers and sisters following suit. He kept his eye peeled out for Lillian, wondering what the troublesome girl had in store for him tonight. Figuring it was better to just ignore her altogether (and not deal with the excessive drama), he separated himself from his family and began aimlessly walking down the hallways to see what he could possibly do.

Lillian was in charge of the opening games, and she'd decided to play a rousing game of charades in the drawing room. One of the older women guests requested some sherry, which was usually absent from the Wellsley household. She rang for a servant, but they were apparently all too busy.
She excused herself and, with a small huff, set off toward the kitchens to look for herself.

Peeking inside each room, Ryan found guests after guests simply talking to each other. Sighing, he was determined to find something fun to do. Or at least someone fun. It was then he caught sight of Lillian walking straight towards him. He froze in place, both scared and excited at the same time.

Lillian was in such a bad mood that even Ryan couldn't bring her down.
"Where the hell do you keep sherry?!" She asked as she walked by, grabbing his sleeve and pulling him with. She was desperate, okay?!

"Whoa, calm down," muttered Ryan, almost falling forward. "Sherry? Pantry, where else would it be?" He looked at her as if it was the most common thing in the world. Amused, he couldn't help but smirk at her. He was definitely right. Here he was, minding his own business, when here she comes out of nowhere to talk to him.

"How am I supposed to know that? I don't bloody buy it!" She was halfway to pulling her hair out. She hated house parties. She hated charades. And she hated sherry most of all.
She sped down the pantry, acting like she knew where it was, though finding it eventually.
((Whoops, past my bed time! Night, my dear!))

"I don't know! Wait, hey! Just calm down!" yelled Ryan after Lillian, chasing her down the hallway and towards the pantry just to make sure she wouldn't grab the wrong bottle and trip and fall. He couldn't help but laugh at her though, since this was the first time he'd seen her so stressed.

She was already rummaging around the shelves when Ryan found her, trying not to lose her cool.
"Who needs this much alcohol?!" She cried, laughing crazy-like.

"Maybe you should have a taste to calm your nerves," said Ryan cooly as he leaned on the doorframe, watching her peruse the shelves frantically.

"Shut your mouth, Lane." She said curtly, moving deeper into the pantry to find that bottle of dark pink liquid.

Ryan smirked to himself, glad that she couldn't see his reaction for fear of causing any more snarky comments. His eyes scanned the shelves, wondering whether this was really the place they stored the sherry at the Wellsley mansion.
"It's right above you," said Ryan after a couple moments, spotting the bottle a good two shelves higher than Lillian's head.

Lillian breathed in and out deeply, apparently trying to calm herself.
"Thank. You." She said, even making her gratefulness sound snarky. She grabbed it, standing on her tip toes and reaching her arm to its furthest extent. She then turned to the door and opened it.
Well, tried to open it... "What." She said as the knob didn't give.

"What what?" muttered Ryan, eyeing other types of liquor that he found in the pantry.

She tried again and again, rattling the door knob furiously.
"It's locked." Lillian said in disbelief. "The door. Is locked."
She spun around the face Ryan. "What did you do?!"
