((This is for Script, but other people should come join us too! ;D))
Goblin led Script into the crowded, noisy vaudeville theater and resisted an urge to turn around and run away. Lately, he'd been even more into hiding and laying low than Wraith was--but he had a mission now, and he was determined to carry it out. "So this is Irving Hall," he told Script with a smile and a sweeping gesture.

((If that involves drama-rama, then, whee!))
Script looked around, impressed. "It's bigger than I thought it be...and loud." She turned to smile up at him. "Come on. Buy me a drink." She took his hand before he could protest and started moving in the direction of the bar.

He flinched--again--but didn't think she noticed, since she was so intent on dragging him toward the bar. When they got there, he detached his hand from hers, with the excuse of getting out his money. "What'll it be?" he asked her, pulling out two stools for them and looking around for someone, anyone, who he could introduce her to.
((Ooh, Tag, can Tara come in with her? 'Cause I think that would end up being very entertaining. ^_^))

She hoisted herself onto the stool, crossing one leg over the other. "A beer's fine. Something amber." She watched him thoughtfully. She wasn't stupid; she knew he wasn't totally comfortable with her, and probably looking for someone to take her off his hands. "So, I take it you don't do this too often."

He ordered two beers and shook his head. "It's been a while." She's getting a little edgy, and she knows you don't want to be here. Sometimes he wished he could turn his brain off entirely. "So what did you did for fun back in Boston? Any places like this?"

She took a sip of her beer before answering. "O'Flannigan's was a nice little place for a beer and just to hang out, but I've never been to a place like this." She flashed him a smile, turning towards him in her stool so their knees bumped. "Thanks for bringing me." She took another sip. "I won't make you suffer long."

Great, now he felt bad. "I'm only suffering a little," he assured her, "and it's not the company. Anyway, this'll probably help." He took a swallow of beer. "So you said you came here with your dad, right? Does he live around here?"

She smiled, but watched him, considering. "Lower East Side, near his brother. We moved a few months after my mother died."

Moonshine, at the other end of the bar with Jack, leaned back, drinking comfortably. "I heard about Brooklyn. Seems intense."

"Brooklyn is intense, its been kind of a mess since Spot took off though," he said casually. Jack spotted Goblin and nodded to him and then raised a brow at the girl he was with. She had to be new too. What was with all the new kids recently.

"Spot? Leader, I take it. Or was, since he left, I guess." He followed Jack's line of sight, seeing two unfamiliar people. "Ya know 'em?"

((Haha, I was totally going to suggest this too!))
"I'm sorry," Goblin said automatically when Script mentioned her mother's death. "How come you're not living with your dad now? Or...maybe I'm prying." Family could be a touchy subject. He certainly knew that as well as anyone.
Glancing up from his drink, he saw a familiar face--and a new one--at the other end of the bar and raised a hand in greeting. Perfect! Rumor had it Jack had hit a rough patch with Stagey. Maybe Script would take a fancy to him, or to the new guy...though Goblin suddenly found himself not so eager to introduce her after all.

Script lifted a shoulder. "He's having a rough time adjusting; I think we both just needed some space to sort ourselves out." She smiled at him and put her hand on his lightly. "It's ok, really." She turned when she saw him wave with his free hand, but kept her hand on his, spotting the guys down the way. "Friends of yours?"

This time he managed, with extraordinary effort, to not freak out when she touched him. Well, that was an accomplishment. "Sort of--that's Jack Kelly, our fearless leader. I'm guessing he's showing a new guy around. We could go meet 'em if you want."
