He reached the ground on the other side and helped her down, wide-eyed with mock hurt. "How could it not be worth it?" Up close, the school building was even creepier, and he was relieved to see that the giant, gnarled willow still led up to a handy second-floor window--the window to the music room, which was so hot and stuffy that someone always left it open. "If you want, I can climb up to the window and then run down and let you in one of the doors." It would be riskier, but that only made it more fun.

((OMG! Last week, there was a speech competition at my school, and this one girl told a scary story for hers. It was about a ghost in the school's music room!!))

Script jumped the last couple of feet down, letting out a breath and tossing back her hair. "I can do it." She sent him a rather flirtatious smirk. "And anyway, I'm sure you'll make it up to me." She started the walk over to the tree, keeping a sharp eye out.
((Haha, I love when Life and RP collide))

((Haha, that's kind of awesome! Actually, I based the school building and the ghost story on Bryn Mawr, the women's college where my sister went.))
He had to admire her nerve. Other than Tara back in the day, most people weren't willing to join him in schemes this random and crazy. He looked around for any sign of a student or teacher or a night watchman, but there was nothing. Normally, the faculty were more concerned about kids sneaking out of school than sneaking into it. He flashed Script a grin and started up the tree.

Script grimaced a little, but licked her lips and started up, awfully glad she opted for pants today. She hoisted herself up, rather proud of herself for being able to keep up. At one point her foot slipped a bit and immediately grabbed hold of his arm to balance herself.

"Yeah they do," Jack said with wide eyes as he turned his head, "Well...eventually some girl is gonna kick that kid's ass." he said more or less to himself. He kept dancing with Tara and spun her around, then drew her back to him.

Tara laughed. "Kathryn might, if he doesn't watch out. She might be having some fun now, but the person she really came to see is Kid Blink," she confided in a dramatic whisper, smiling as he twirled her. "You're a good dancer!"

He grabbed her arm and steadied her on the branch. "Careful. I gotcha." Standing on tiptoe, he managed to grab hold of the window and give it a push. It slid open easily. "This is going almost too well," he muttered, pulling himself up onto the window ledge. He offered Script a hand.

Script murmured something about "Oh, you got me, all right..." She took his hand and followed him inside, letting out a breath. "Well, that was a workout." She smirked at him, cheeks pleasantly flushed from the climb.

"You know you enjoyed it," Goblin teased, looking around at the dark room. He grabbed a lamp hanging by the door, took out a match, and lit in. Same old stuffy music room, full of instruments that brought back vague memories of really boring piano lessons. "See any ghosts?" he asked with a smirk, already working out the details of phase two of his plan.

She smirked at him, but looked around a little warily. "No. Not yet." She did, however, move to take hold of his hand again.

"Don't worry," he told her solemnly when she took his hand, "I'll protect you if they appear." He really didn't know what to make of her clinginess. It made him uncomfortable, to say the least, but on the other hand, he doubted whether anyone less persistent could've gotten him out on the town and actually enjoying himself.
Very cautiously, he opened the door a crack and found the hallway deserted. "You know," he said softly, turning back to her, "if the ghost of Olivia Whittaker really isn't around tonight, the girls of Miss Porter's are gonna be awfully disappointed. They might even lose faith in the old legend. Maybe we should help 'em out a little?" The evil gleam was back with a vengeance.

She blinked at him for a couple seconds, then a slow smirk curved her lips. "You're either evil or a genius. Maybe both." She peeked around as they walked down the hall. "So what's the plan?"

He shrugged, "runs in the family, my ma was a chorus girl." He said as he pulled her back against him. "Blink? Really? The guy who wants a harem?"

((OMG FORGIVE ME BECKY I FINALLY CAUGHT UP READING THIS MONSTER))
Blink was near the band this entire time, dancing wildly with Copper, Sapphy, and Kennedy -- to a slow song. Copper dipped Kennedy as Sapphy and Blink danced around each other in a flailing interpretive dance. Sapphy hiked up her skirt, dancing the way her mother taught her -- good and Irish. Blink was kicking his feet out, keeping a hand on his cap as his body danced low to the ground.
He thought he heard someone say his name and stopped dancing for the first time in 47 minutes -- the four of them were persistent and pissing off the band by not keeping in beat. "PLAY SOMETHING FASTER!" they would yell.
Blink scanned the bar and saw... Huh, was that Kathryn and Moonshine?
Blink knew how he stood with girls -- he was never the first choice, so this came as no real shock to him. It happened so often during these formative teenage years that it didn't even bother him anymore. Still, he walked up to the bar, realizing he needed some water.
"Four waters?" he yelled to the others, who didn't even stop dancing while they nodded.
