He kissed her fingers again and smiled. "Well, then let's get outta here. I got somethin' else in mind." He paid the bill, leaving as generous a tip as he could manage, then circled around to pull her chair back, taking hold of her hand when she stood up, and led her out, fingers linked with hers.

Kathryn followed him, decided to just go with it. While she would much rather be on this date with Blink than him, she wanted Tyler to think she at least tried to have a good time. Even though she kinda was determined not to...

"Back ta the House. Don't worry, we ain't goin' inside." He glanced over at her, giving her hand a little squeeze. They walked in silence the rest of the way, which was fine with him, since it gave him a chance just to observe her. She still had on that overly polite, steely expression on her face. He would have given aything just to see her completely undone.
When they reached Duane St., he led her around the back of the building to the fire escape. Just before they reached the top, he topped and turned to her. "Alright, close yer eyes."

Kathryn eyed him suspiciously for a few moments before closing her eyes slowly. What was going on?

He left her on the landing for a minute to check the progress on the roof. To his satisfaction, everything was set up just as he wanted, and he went back to get her, leading her up.
"Alright, Sugar. Open yer eyes." Set up in a little corner of the roof was a blanket, a plate of brownies, a bottle of cheap wine with glasses, and candles he had quickly lit before going back to get her. He had to practically promise Script his first-born to talk her into setting this up for him.

Kathryn's eyes widened momentarily as she took in the scene before her.

He flashed her a wide grin, feeling rather triumphant. "Well, I'm glad ya like it, Sugar. Come on." He put his hand to the small of her back, guiding her over, plopping himself down to sit on the blanket.

Kathryn sat down in a very practiced manner, bending her knees just so and covering her ankles with her skirts.
"Are those...brownies?" she asked, staring at the squares of chocolate sitting on the plate.
((Sorry to be on so little, but it's been kinda crazy tonight! I think I will have Wi-Fi where I'm staying in Cape Town, though, so I should be on again tomorrow night for me, morning/afternoon for you. Night!!))

((Hey, turns out I won't be on that much this week - I posted in my hiatus thread, so if you want full deets read that!))
Kathryn took the glass and murmured a 'thank you' once she swallowed her bite of brownie. "Wow, that is delicious," she informed him, staring at the brownie like it was a piece of art or something.

He laughed warmly, eyes on her. "Well, I can't argue with that." He took another drink of wine, then reached his hand out to tuck a flyaway piece of her hair behind her ear.

Kathryn didn't really know what else to say. She sipped at her wine some more and finished her brownie, glancing at Moonshine every so often (though it was more keeping an eye on him than anything).
"Well, this has been nice. But, I should be getting home now..."
