"Well, I can't wait to meet them," she replied as she put the other piece of bread on top of all the fillings. She took out a plate and put the sandwich on there. "Your sandwich is ready!"

"Thank you," he smiled, kissing her on the cheek and handing her the book and scarf. "Here's something for you." He beamed as he took a bite out of the sandwich.

Tag gasped as she held up the scarf, examining it. "Oh, it's beautiful!" She looked down at the book and gasped even louder. "My very own copy of Pride & Prejudice! Oh, this is lovely. I love it. I love them both."

Specs grinned, glad that she truly liked it. "I figured you needed your own copy," he said, taking a bite out of his sandwich.

"You were quite right. I don't know why I haven't gotten one before," she replied, gazing at the book before setting it on the counter. "Thank you so much. But I haven't got anything for you!"

"You don't have to," he laughed softly. "I was the one on the trip, so naturally, I'd get something for you. But you definitely surprised me with your new place!"

Tag looked down at her feet, smiling shyly and blushing. After a few silent moments, she moved to stand behind him, wrapping her arms around his waist and standing on her toes to rest her chin on his shoulder.

"I mean, we don't have to, but... I was thinking we could go over to the courthouse tomorrow... And get married then." She lifted her chin to kiss his shoulder, somewhat nervous about his reply. She just didn't want to wait any longer.

"The courthouse? Are you sure?" he asked with concern, turning around to face her. "You want to get married at the courthouse?"

"Well, I have no family. Your family's a 5-day-train ride away. We can have a get together with all our friends this weekend." She took his hands, squeezing them. "Ryan, I don't care where I get married. As long as you're there next to me, I don't care."

"It would be my pleasure," she replied with a wide smile. She showed him the small sitting room and the dining room downstairs before taking him upstairs. "There are two spare bedrooms, so your family can stay with us when they come to visit. And this is my room - well, it will be yours, too." She opened the door to reveal a fairly large bedroom with a grand four poster bed, a wardrobe, and a vanity holding all of Tag's accessories and perfumes.
