Specs' hand traveled up and down her side, caressing her as he kissed her hungrily. "Mmm, I missed you," he mumbled in between kisses.

"I missed you, too," Tag replied, her tone almost desperate. She wrapped her arms tightly around his neck, pressing her body against his, her kisses growing ever fevered.

"Mmm," managed Specs, his kisses trailing down towards her jaw and neck. He usually loved it when Tag dressed up but, right now, it was simply in the way.

Tag finally came out of her slight trance, lifting her head away from Specs. "I should make dinner now," she whispered.

"Yes," breathed Specs heavily, hesitantly pulling back. "Y-you should... Do you need help?"

"No, you'll only distract me," she replied with a small smile. She stepped back, eyes still locked with his, before turning and heading toward the kitchen.
An hour or so later, Tag set down her knife and fork with a contented sigh. She thought she'd done a darn good job with that spaghetti, but she was anxiously awaiting Specs' final opinion.

After his last bite, Specs let out a satisfied smile. "I definitely missed your cooking," he grinned, reaching over to touch her hand.

"Well, it's definitely up there next to my Mother's," smiled Specs, giving her a reassuring smile before standing up to start cleaning the dishes.

"I'm gonna go get ready for bed," she informed him before coming up behind him at the sink and kissing his cheek. She grabbed her new book from the counter, where she'd left it, and headed upstairs to change.

"I'll meet you up there," nodded Specs as he turned on the faucet. After about a half an hour, the kitchen was spotless and how it was before Tag had touched it. Grabbing his bags, he headed upstairs, gently knocking on her bedroom door.
"Lillian?"

"Hmm?" she replied, her eyes not leaving the book. She was already sitting in bed in her nightclothes, her hair in a long braid over her shoulder.

"Are you decent?" he asked, cautiously peeking in and smiling when he saw what she was doing. He dropped his bags to the floor and made his way over to her. "Reading already?"

"You give me Pride & Prejudice and you expect me to not read it?" she teased, holding her place with her finger. With her free hand, she reached out to take his, kissing his knuckles.
