As Sapphy spoke to Risk, Script took a minute to look at Goblin, clearly still hurt and annoyed. "You don't really think I can do this, do you?"

"I don't think you should have to do this." He sighed, getting up and nodding toward the far corner of the basement so they could talk about all this in private and let Risk and Sapphy do the same. Wraith, of course, had already vanished.

She sighed, following him. "Sebastian, none of us should have to do this. But we're doing it. You're letting everybody else put themselves at risk for the cause, but you keep coming up with reasons why I can't." She tilted her face up at him, frowning.

"They're one of the worst," sighed Risk. "Eastman will do anything to get power or money... even both. He's cunning in a street smart way but won't let on that he actually knows what he's doing. He'll try and recruit the best kids... which is why we're bringing you in. They're trouble but organized trouble --- they've got everything down to a process, that's why they work so well... and probably why they took over the Refuge without getting shut down so quickly."

She sighed. How could she stay mad at him when he was only worried about her. Because he cared about her. It made her a little misty eyed, so she kissed him. "Okay. Okay, you don't have to like it." She sighed. "So how are we supposed to get ourselves arrested?"

"Exactly," Goblin agreed. There'll be more than enough danger once we're in the Refuge. He glanced over at Risk and Sapphy, wondering how that conversation was going. He really couldn't have found himself a more unlikely team to attempt this.

She winced just a little as she thought of her father. "Daddy's gonna kill me..." But she took another breath, holding onto Goblin because it made her feel better.
To the group at large, she said, "So, when does this plan get put into motion?"
