"Uh...what are you doing?" Mush asked, quirking an eyebrow as he set the coins down on the table.

"Mush, you don't always have to pay," replied Ershey, frowning at that fact that she wasn't able to beat him.

"I don't always pay. You paid for those hot dogs the other day, remember?" he reminded her, pushing the coins toward the waiter when he arrived with the bill. "Besides, it makes a guy feel good when he treats his girl to something."
((I was at the mall with my mentor teacher here and her fiancee, and she was looking at some really nice tennis shoes to buy him for his birthday. They were kind of expensive, and he was flipping out, going "You better not buy those for me!" and she brought up how he bought her all these things and he was like "No, that's different, I'm the guy! I'm allowed to spoil you!" Boys! I don't understand!))

((Hahaha! Seriously!! My ex was the complete opposite -- we totally switched off when necessary, but yeah, boys definitely do that )) "You're just spoiling me today, aren't you?" she grinned, dropping the subject.

Mush nodded, smiling over at her. "I wish I could spoil you every day!"

"You already do well enough as it is," smiled Ershey. "Back to the lodging house?"

"Yeah, I definitely think it's time for a nap," he replied, chuckling as he slid out of the booth and held his hand out for Ershey.

"Mmm, that sounds good," she smiled as she took his hand. Once they were back at the lodging house, Ershey immediately led him upstairs, her eyelids feeling heavy at the thought of taking a nap.

"Let's go up to the attic..." he suggested, not exactly liking the idea of napping on one of their bunks. The beds were too small, and Mush was sure he would push Ershey off the bed as he slept.

"Okay," nodded Ershey, going up to the third floor and reaching for the latch to open the staircase that led upstairs.
((Sleep! Gnight!!))

Mush let her go up first, watching her climb the ladder (and, to be honest, appreciating the view). Once he was sure she was up there safely, he headed up himself.
((Night!))

As soon as Ershey stepped onto the attic, she felt a wave of nausea hit her. She immediately saw a blanket, grabbed it and draped it on the floor before lying down, not even waiting for Mush.

Once his head was level with the ground, he looked around for Ershey. He spotted her already lying down, looking a bit pale. He scrambled up into the attic and made his way over there, crouching next to her face.
"Hey, Ersh...you don't look so good...are you okay?" he asked, sweeping his hand over her forehead, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.

"I'm fine, just dizzy... that's all," said Ershey, trying to give him a reassuring smile. "It happens. It'll go away, don't worry."

Mush looked at her worriedly, rubbing her cheek with his thumb. "You sure? You want some water or something?"
