Specs walked up the fire escape, making his way towards the rooftop. He'd been looking for Skittery and couldn't think of any other place he would be other than up on the roof, thinking about things and smoking his cigarette. He'd check everywhere else and hoped that he was hiding up in the rooftop. He hadn't seen the guy in a while and.... well, actually missed him.

Skittery was, in fact, on the roof, smoking and thinking about life. He was pondering the fact that he hadn't seen Specs, his best friend, on a regular basis since the summer. And that was pretty lame.

"Skitts!" grinned Specs once he spotted his friend. He immediately walked over to him and sat down. "I've been lookin' everywhere for you. How is it in Skittery world?"

A crooked smile appeared on his face as he saw Specs. "Well, you know... Not much, really. Just getting to know myself since my best friend hasn't been hanging around so much anymore..."

He'd spotted Specs and Tag a couple times at Tibby's and Central Park. She was pretty, but obviously she was too controlling. He shrugged as he threw his cigarette away.

"Nothing, nothing. Just that when you got a girl, you always gotta check in with her before doing anything. I don't have to worry about that." He shrugged, glancing over at his friend and hoping he was making him think.

Oh, Specs. So naive. This girl had already come between them. "Yeah, I know... Hey, how's about we do something just the two of us? No girls allowed," he smirked over at Specs, a somewhat evil glint in his eye.
