He leaned on the back of the couch and looked down at her. "Hi," He said with a smirk. "You can go if ya want. Big brother's home."

She arched a brow at him. "You really want me to walk home at midnight, Sean?" She smirked. "Your mom told my mom I was going to spend the night."

She shrugged. "The couch I guess." She nodded at him to sit down. "So where were you all night?"

"Ya know, out...doing business." He shrugged. "Then got a few drinks, Pat's still there." Sean came around and sat beside her on the sofa. "Sleep in my room. I'll stay here."

"Family business," He said with a smirk, turning to face her. "You're a nosy broad huh?" Sean tapped her nose teasingly. "Your father knows, why don't you ask him?"

She scrunched her nose up at him. "Daddy doesn't tell me anything. Said if I'd been born a boy, it'd be different." She pursed her lips, annoyed, and for a second she looked exactly like Gypsy.

She smirked. "Oh, I know. My mom's tough, too. Ya know, they still won't tell me how they met?" She shook her head. "Daddy's too overprotective, and I don't know why. I mean, I'm not stupid, I'm not gonna get myself into that much trouble."

"You sure about that?" He said with a laugh. "You could get yourself into a lot of trouble running around the lower east side and down here in Brooklyn." Sean lit up a cigarette and made himself more comfortable.

She looked over at him, admiring him before she could stop herself. "A little trouble never hurt nobody..."

Sean laughed, "Clearly you've never been in trouble." He said with a smirk.

That Conlon Smirk was legendary, and it made her insides flutter. She cleared her throat, looking away from him before she started to blush. "Guess not."

"Stay outta trouble, it ain't worth it." He said and then stood up from the couch. He stretched and then yawned. "See ya in the morning. You know my mother ain't letting you leave without breakfast."
