He flung off his sling, not even caring about his hand at the moment, and lifted her up to sit her on the counter.

Lillian did care about his hand, though. She pulled away from the kiss, turning her cheek to him. "Tyler, be careful. You're not supposed to take that off for another couple days. I don't want you to further injure yourself, it might not heal properly..."
