"Usually my spontaneity gets me into trouble." She smiled at him. "Unless you are trouble. Are you trouble, David Jacobs?" She hadn't joked this much in a long time. It felt good.

David shot her a grin. "I dunno. Is it bad that I'd kinda like to be?"

Zippy's eyes sparkled, and she leaned against the fence for the zebras. "No, I think its bad that I kinda want you to be."

He leaned next to her, but his eyes were on her, not the animals. "You want me to be, huh? Well, then maybe I could try, ya know, for you."

(( haha, ohhh boy))
Zippy grinned at him. "Alright. Steal me a zebra." She gestured towards the baby one that was standing next to the fence.

He blanched. "Huh??" He blinked at her, then laughed a little nervously. "Uh, don't you think I could start a little less...big?"

Zippy giggled. "OKay, okay, I'll settle for a penguin." She licked her snowcone and winked at him. He really was a cutie-pie.

He blushed, sending her a lopsided grin. "Maybe I can buy you one of those stuffed penguins from the gift shop. Does that count?"

She shook her head, laughing. "Definitely not. That is, actually, the opposite of trouble." Finishing up her snow cone, Zippy tossed it into the trash.
"It's alright, we'll work on it. You could start by making up with Jack. I can imagine that friendship got you into all sorts of trouble."

He wiped his hands on his pants before taking hold of her hand again. He liked the way her hand felt in his. "I dunno if he even wants to talk to me."

"It's Jack. How long could he really hold a grudge for?" Zippy offered, leading them to the primate house. Monkeys, apes and gorillas absolutely fascinated her.

He took a chance and rubbed her knuckles with his thumb as he held her hand. "Yeah, I guess you're right...Jack's probably over it by now."

"Yeah, doesn't he have a new girlfriend? I'm sure all is long forgotten." Zippy offered, pressing her face up against the screen at a nearby gorilla that was swinging on a swing. She reached into her bag for her sketchpad.

He let go of her hand so he could watch her draw, fascinated by her. He leaned in close to watch, his breath hitting her ear.

"I could probably do this for hours," She shared, looking at him, sorta surprised he was so close to her. "It takes that long to get her right," Zippy cracked her knuckles, looking at the gorilla. "She's very complicated and I can never capture that right. I wish I had a camera."
