Kathryn was going out of her mind. She wanted to go to his house looking for him, but she wasn't quite sure where it even was. She hadn't been paying attention when Alexander had taken her there. Se began to get snippy with everyone, including her parents. Then she started to get depressed. Leo had never really loved her, had he? That's how she felt, at least.

Despite Zorro's absence, all the attacks on the mayor and his political office had stopped. It seems that Zorro had actually done it...
It was early morning when Alexander showed up at the mayor's mansion through the servant door, and a maid went to go fetch Kathryn right away.

Kathryn's maid had just finished putting her hair up when the servant knocked timidly at her door. She furrowed her brow, but went to the door anyways. When she saw who it was, she gasped.
"Alexander," she said, stepping outside and closing the door behind her. "What's going on?"

She looked around, seeing nothing but the closed door behind her. "We're already alone..." she said, her brow furrowed deeply. "Now tell me what in blazes is going on?!"
