Trixie perched on the edge of the bed, fluffing his pillow before pushing him to lay back down. "Trixie. You're Luke, right?"

"Trixie. That's an awfully pretty name," Luke said, sniffling. Eli walked in then, with a bowl of soup.

Trixie giggled, helping Luke sit up. "Be nice, Eli, he's sick." She brushed her hand across Luke's forehead, pushing his hair out of his eyes.

"I love you," Luke told her feverishly, taking the bowl of soup from Eli, who was laughing at him.
"Can't say I blame ya, the girl really knows how to cut a deal." Eli sat down on the edge of Lukes bed, smiling at them both fondly.

"Aw, well, I love ya too, honey bunny." She kissed Luke's forehead, then got off the bed. "Just put the bowl on the nightstand when you're done and go back to sleep. Come on Eli, leave 'im alone."

"Don't wait up," Eli told Luke, grabbing an extra blanket and throwing it over him.
Eli closed Luke's door and smiled at Trixie. "Thanks. Sorry about that, I wanted to make sure he was okay. Ready to walk back now?"

"Yeah?" Eli smiled at her, biting his lip. "What do you have in mind, Goldilocks? Wanna help me rearrange my baseball card collection?" he joked, grinning and stroking her cheek with the back of his hand.

She pressed herself against him, sucking on his bottom lip, nipping at it with her teeth. One hand buried itself in his hair, while the other slid down his chest.
