"Well Lucus is in the bedroom, and we don't have a couch..." he looked at her, hoping she got the drift of what he was trying to say.

She nibbled on his jaw, tracing her lips along it. "So? You got lotsa' floor space. And a kitchen counter. And a dining room table."

Eli made a face. "This is a shitty place. I'm pretty sure there are traces of opium on every one of those surfaces you just listed." He sort of chuckled, and wondered why she wanted him to fuck her so badly. Sure, he couldnt blame her, but....he could wait.

She let out a sigh, pulling back and raking a hand through her hair. "Ya know, you're the second boy to turn me down since I quit dancin'." She pouted a little. "I'm startin' to think I lost my touch."

"Or you are asking the wrong guys." Eli pointed out, casually, trying not to think of the numbers of guys she's been with- or the number of guys she wanted to be. Eli may get some himself, but he certainly didn't wanna just be another one of those guys for her, which was sort of odd for him.... "Wait a few days and Luke will give it to you in a second."

She winced, and looked at him like he'd just hit her. She pursed her lips and stalked to the living room, grabbing her coat.

Eli sighed, he hadn't meant it like that. "C'mon, Trixie, I was just...trying to be friendly." He caught up to her, grabbing her arm. "I just met you, and you're great, but....that isn't me. Can't you tell? I like to show my women a good time. Treat them like ladies." He picked up her teddy bear and held it in front of his face.
"Please forgive Eli, he's stupid," he said in his ridiculous attempt at a squeaky teddy bear voice.

She huff at him, but didn't walk away. She stuck her hip out and folded her arms over her chest, giving him an annoyed look. "Ya did show me a good time, Eli. Figured it was my turn." She pointed her finger at him. "And don't go thinkin' it's 'cause I'm desperate or nothin'. If I really just wanted to get my rocks off, ya know damn well I could without even tryin'."

"Yeah, I know. I just...you did show me a good time, Trixie." Eli told her, handing her the bear. "I had a great time, actually. I know it doesn't seem like it, but most people don't go along with my craziness quite like you did. Hard to believe, right!" He chuckled, offering her a genuine smile.

She couldn't help but smile back at him. "So, then you understand why I don't wanna leave ya just yet." She sighed, putting the bear down and stepping closer to him. "You don't gotta date me or nothin', Eli. I don't need to be wooed."

Eli stroked her cheek. "I'm sorry, Sweets. I ain't feelin' it yet."

This whole being rejected thing was new to Trixie, and having two guys do it in such short time of each other made her feel about four inches tall.
She didn't say anything, just pulled away from him and put on her coat. "I'll see ya later then." She tried very hard not to frown.

"C'mon, I thought I was walking you back," Eli asked her, kind of confused. He hadn't meant any of this as a rejection, although he supposed that was how she thought perceived it. He just wanted to have fun with her- she was just about one of the greatest people he had met in New York, and sex wasn't his top priority with her.

"No sense in you walkin' all the way across the bridge just to walk back here." She shrugged on her coat, looking at him with as blank of an expression as she could manage.

"Alright," Eli said, with a shrug. "Be safe. Let Teddy protect you from any bad guys."
