Rose furrowed her brow in thought, then looked up at Jimmy, a sly smile on her face. "If we go to the drawing room, we can look out through the window and see the gardens."

Jimmy smirked and the grabbed her hand, hurrying her to the drawing room. There were two chairs placed before the curtains. "After you," He said, offering her a chair.

Rose pulled her knees up under her, leaning forward and peering through the window. "I don't see them...Where are they?!"

"Sssh, she has stealth hearing," Jimmy scolded, pulling the curtain away. "There look," he pointed to a corner of the garden.

Rose leaned over toward Jimmy so she could see, not realizing how very close to him she was. She watched with wide eyes, wishing she could hear what they were talking about. "Well, it doesn't look like they're arguing, at least," she whispered.

"That is definitely a good sign," Jimmy glanced at her and then smirked. He wrapped his arm around her and then pulled her onto his lap, kissing her cheek.

Rose couldn't help but let out a small giggle as she situated herself in his lap. "My lord, we must pay attention!" she scolded playfully, still whispering. "Look, I think Raven is actually laughing. And not at him!"
