"She was, Trixie. One of the best," he agreed. He lifted his hand up and lightly placed it over hers, patting it lightly. "Can't say I've met too many other 'great girls' since I've been back this way."

"I don't have a problem with tough, trust me," he continued, his eyes widening slightly when he felt her squeeze his arm. Casually, he closed his hand gently over hers and squeezed it lightly in return. "I can live with tough. I just can't live with disrespect, that's all. There's a fine line between being just a little tough and being disrespectful."
