"Well... I mean, I don't know too much about young kids, but from what I've heard, some kids are like that. They grow out of it eventually, but in the meantime, it's torture!" He watched Sean as he continued to sleep, occasionally glancing out the windoe to see if they were nearing their stop.

"Aww, no, I'm not," He denied, his face hot with embarrassment. "Just a bit of a kid at heart, I guess." He glanced out the window again and saw that their stop was finally approaching. "Looks like we're almost home."

"I'm actually kind of sad about it," she said. When the trolley came to a stop they all got off.

"Yeah... I guess you got a point there," he agreed, a shy smile on his face. He walked beside her as they headed down the sidewalk and, after a few brief moments of consideration, casually looped his arm though hers. "The best day I've had in a while, I've gotta be honest."

"Do you need help gettin' Sean all settled in once we get home?" Nate asked softly so the sound of his voice wouldn't wake Rae's sleeping son.
