"No," Eli replied, coldly, his face stern. "She's at work."

David gave him a wary look. "You know she wouldn't like this, Eli. It'll upset her."

Eli nodded. "I know. I have to do this. I thought you- of all people- would understand."

He sighed heavily. "I do, Eli. I do understand. But I'm not exactly in the business of revenge. We--" he paused. "Tristan oughta' be the one to do it." He frowned. Tristan was in the business of revenge. He would do a better job than anybody. No matter how much David hated the guy.

((ahaha we could get Tristan in on this)))
"Who is Tristan?" Eli asked, frowning. "And...I'm not afraid of this Joseph guy. We got this." Eli had some fighting experience, Luke had more, and he truly believed that the minute that they walked into the synagogue, Eli would lose control.

((Haha, I figured that was the plan. Riddle told Jimmy to take care of it, and he was going to get Tristan to help, I think))
"Tristan is--" he frowned. "Tristan is Erin's exboyfriend. He's a professional boxer."

((Yeah, I know but i wasnt sure if it was gonna actually happen))
Luke hid an amused smile as Eli gave David a look. "You're kidding. Oy vey." He sighed, shrugging. "You know where to find this guy?"

"He lives in Brooklyn. There's this other guy, a friend of his. He leaves on the East Side somewhere, but I've never met him." This idea was the worst. David was pretty sure he'd never frowned so much since he met Eli.

Luke groaned. "Eli, lets just go to this synagogue, beat the shit out of him, and go back looking for an apartment. I don't wanna live in that neighborhood anyway if Erin don't feel comfortable there."
Eli shrugged. "I don't know. That's true, but to have a professional boxer with us seems like a good idea." He looked at David, annoyed. "You aren't helping as much as you think you are. Where exactly in Brooklyn?"

He gave him an annoyed look right back. "What? I'm supposed to know where my girlfriend's ex lives with his new wife?"

"Or know someone who does," Eli pointed out, shaking his head. He was antsy, he wanted this done already.
Luke placed his hand on Eli's shoulder. "C'mon, lets just go check out the shul, we're almost there anyway."
((i messaged rae, she'll let me know if Tristan can join))

David groaned, raking a hand through his hair. This was for Zippy. For Erin. He just had to keep telling himself that as he followed.

"There it is," Eli pointed at a synagogue. "Dave, how do we find out what the guy looks like? I'm too angry right now to think clearly."

David sighed. "Well. We could say we're friends. Looking for him. If you want, I can do it. You guys can stay out here."

"Yes! Brilliant!" Eli answered, jumping up and down. He was antsy. "Pretend you are Jewish."
