He blinked at him. "How the hell do I do that??"

Eli groaned, turning to Luke. "Help!"
"Eli. Take a deep breath and then you go in with him, moron. You're a Jew." Luke shoved him towards the shul. "I'll be out here."

David gave him both wary looks. This was going to be a disaster, he just knew it. "Come on. We'll find out who he is, then get the hell outta there. Make Tristan and his cronies deal with it."

Eli still didn't know what that meant. "Fine. Whatever, Dave." They entered the synagogue, and Eli began to wander, opening up the doors to the sanctuary where men were praying. He closed the doors and he grabbed Dave's shoulders.
"Your intelligence, Davey. I'm freaking out. I can't think, I'm gonna explode."

David felt like smacking him. He hissed at him through gritted teeth. "Jesus, Eli, get it together! Were gonna say were looking for the Rabbi's son...interested in...isn't there like a youth group or something?"

Eli blinked at him. "You're right. We'll ask to speak to the Rabbi. Good work." He glanced around, grabbing the arm of a passing man.
"Do you know where I can find the Rabbi?" Eli asked.
"Yes, he is in his study with his son Joseph." The man replied, gesturing to a nearby door.
"Toda," Eli nodded and then gestured to David. "Stay here. Its too bad we couldn't just tell Erin, she coulda just drawn us a damn picture..."

David stopped, grabbing Eli's arm. "Dumbass, Joseph is the guy! She told me his name, I just couldn't remember it 'til now."

"Yeah I know!" Eli yanked his arm back. "I wanna get a good look at him. I'll just ask the rabbi how much it is to join or something."

He nodded, following him. "Just...just don't glare at him and give ourselves away."

Eli took a deep breath, not sure if he could handle this. he entered the study, where the Rabbi had a punch of papers laying down before him, and his son- Joseph- sitting next to him and shaking his head.
"Can I help you young man?" The Rabbi asked, looking at Eli. Eli froze as his and Joseph's eyes met. "A----food pantry. Where....where is it?"
The Rabbi smiled and elbowed Joseph. "Show these young men where the food pantry is." Joseph rolled his eyes and stood up. "This way." He led them out, and Eli looked at David, with wide eyes. They quickly followed.

David shot Eli a look that clearly meant 'stay cool and shut up!'. He didn't speak as Joseph led them to the food pantry, just sized him up so he'd remember how to describe him.

Joseph opened up the food pantry, stepping inside. "There ya go. Don't take too much, its mostly for the women and children." Eli stepped in after him, glancing around and pretty much ready to pounce the guy.
They were alone, David sort of had his back, and suddenly Eli found a new boost of confidence that he always had when he interacted with people. He smirked. "So, Joe was it?" He shut the door behind David, looking at Joseph.
"Joseph," He responded, giving Eli a confused look.

David almost groaned. Eli was the most impulsive human being alive. "Eli...let's just get some food and go...please." He gave him a pointed look.

((hahaha))
"Right, Dave, in a sec," Eli replied, crossing his arms over his chest, glaring at Joseph. Sure the guy was huge- but the image of him clobbering his sister really pissed him off. He prided himself on being able to manipulate anybody- why should this guy be any different?
"You've been around here long?"
Joseph nodded, confused. "My whole life."
"Well, my brother and I- " Eli gestured to Dave, "Just moved here and are looking for a place to celebrate the Sabbath. Know anywhere?"
Joseph shrugged. "Yes. Of course I do. Where are you from?"
Eli smiled. "Brooklyn."
Chuckling, Joseph nodded. "Well you are welcome at our house. If ya got any sisters, feel free to bring them." He laughed like this was some sort of a joke, and Eli nearly lost it, but chuckled mocklingly at him.
"We don't, but we'd love to come. What's your address?" Eli asked coolily, glancing at David just for a moment. Joseph handed him a business card.
"Just the two of you?"
Eli looked at the card , nodding again. "Yep," he grinned. "Just the two of us." Joseph patted Eli's shoulder and walked out.

Dave was holding his breath for most of this, half afraid that Eli would just lay into him at any second. Once Joseph walked out, however, he let out his breath, shooting Eli a glare. "Are you out of your mind?!"
