"Cici's Dinner it is," he smiled, fishing out his keys once he spotted his car and opening the door for her. He breathed a sigh of relief when he saw that he'd cleaned it the other day. He mentally pat himself on the back.

Alec gently closed the door and ran towards the passenger seat. "You're just saying that 'cause it's clean," he smirked, half-teasing. "I just got lucky that I found a car that was worth buying on Craigslist."

Alec laughed softly, turning on the engine as he began to drive. He wondered why he hadn't noticed Natalie earlier. Maybe because he was always sleeping in class.
"So, uh, what're your plans for the holidays this year?"

Alec shrugged, glancing at his side view mirror as he changed lanes. "Probably the same... we do the same thing every year. Eat. Church. Presents. Eat some more. I don't mind the eating part, actually."

Alec waited to park the car before he responded. "I own a mirror, I just don't look at it all the time like those jocks do," he teased. He shrugged, looking at her genuinely. "People just misunderstand me a lot... it always happens when you get sent to detention. Hot usually isn't the first thing I hear, that's all."
