"Thank you..." Shyly, Lana returned her attention to the sky. The oranges and pinks were now gradually being replaced with purples and the blues of the impending nighttime. "The sun is almost gone."

"But then the stars will come out," Leo pointed out, always bringing optimism. He wrapped an arm around her shoulders. "Are you cold, Lana?"

Chills raced down Lana's spine as she felt his arm closing around her shoulder. She could hardly believe that this was actually happening to her, of all people. "Yes, a little," she fibbed, using it as an excuse to slide closer to him."Are you cold?"

"I'm all right, " he told her, rubbing her arm and holding her closer. "It is a bit chilly. But I can't think of anything but you."

Lana's shoulders rolled slowly, relaxing at his touch. "This is the happiest I have been since coming here," she confessed softly. "Thank you."

"I am glad you are happy too," Lana said with a smile. She looked out over the other rooftops. The sun was gone now, but tiny white stars were finally starting to dot the dark night sky. "You deserve to be happy, with everything you do." Slowly, she frowned. It was night, this meant he would have to leave to go work at Irving Hall soon.

Leo nodded, smiling at her. "Yes. You should take Star to your bed and get her acquainted." he stood up, glancing once more at the beautiful night sky then back to Lana.

"I hope she will like it," Lana agreed. Reluctantly, she slid out from underneath Leo's arm and back from the edge of the roof before rising to her feet. "Well, I hope you have a good night. I will see you again soon?"
