Her heart melted as she stared at him another long moment. Then she threw herself at him, wrapping her arms around his neck and kissing him fiercely.

Jacquie clung to him, kissing him desperately. She finally pulled back enough to breath, eyes wet with tears. "I love, Sean. I don't want you to go."

She shook her head. "Nothing. You won't tell me, anyway." It hurt her that he wouldn't trust her. "My dad still here?"

She sniffled again, wiping her eyes. "I should probably go home before he wonders where I am. I--oh, God, Sean." She wrapped her arms around his waist, kissing his face desperately. "Please, please be safe. Come home to me. Please."

She nodded, giving him a weak smile...but she didn't really believe him. "I...Can you walk me home? Or at least to the Bridge?"

She pressed close against him as they walked, her cheek resting against his shoulder. She held back her tears, but she knew that the second she got home, she'd be a mess.
