((Oo, maybe Mason! and Daisy would be a total sweetheart. Real soft spoken))
Trixie laughed. "Aw, too soon to think about your princess goin' off and findin' herself a man?"

((And Mason is Davey, Jr so that sounds so cute!))
Eli scrunched his nose, looking at David to see if he agreed. "That sounds miserable. I'm not gonna let her date until she's 30."

((THIS NEEDS TO HAPPEN!))
Trixie snorted. "Eli, I was 16 when we started goin'. 18 when I had Duncan."

"Exactly. I KNOW what teenage girls do. And it won't be happenin' in my house!" Eli insisted. Erin burst out laughing.

Trixie giggled, teasing him. "Aw, Papa Bear just got old."

Eli sighed. "I was so relieved with a son. Now I have so much anxiety my head is gonna explode."
Erin was still chuckling and heard Melody begin to cry. She frowned for a minute before going to her daughter, sitting with her on the rocking chair in the nursery.

David excused himself and followed Erin into the bedroom. He snuck a peek at a still-sleeping Lori on the bed, then moved to stand beside Erin at the rocking chair. "She okay?"
Trixie brushed her fingers through Eli's hair gently. "You really that anxious about havin' a girl?"

"Who knows?" Erin replied with a sigh, as Mel continued to cry.
"Maybe," Eli replied, and he moved Trixie off him and sit next to him on the couch. He laid his head down on her lap.

David tilted his head, watching. "Can--can I take her?" He stooped down, taking Melody from her arms carefully.
Trixie rubbed his head soothingly, smiling down at him. "We'll be fine. And Duncan'll look out for his baby sister."

"Be my guest," Erin said, watching him with her. "She's not hungry, because I just fed her."
"Uh huh. " Eli gazed up at her. "So how bout that dream wedding?"

David held her carefully, almost afraid that he would break her if he held on to tightly. He rocked her in his arms, looking down at her, murmuring. "Hey, there, Mel. No need to be fussy, Daddy's got you."
Trixie grinned down at him. "Really? You really wanna?"

Erin smiled. "She's gonna grow up obsessed with you."
Eli nodded. "sure kitten. If you want to, go ahead and plan something real nice."

David grinned, eyes on Melody's face. She'd stopped crying, and was cooing up at him. "I hope so."
Trixie squealed and leaned down, kissing him. "Ya think Erin'll wanna be my maid of honor?"

"how could she not?" Erin remarked, moving to sit next to him and glancing at Lori. She picked her up and placed her into Mel's bassinet.
"Of course. Especially after she made you wear that god-awful teal dress as hers..." Eli scrunched up his nose.

David smiled, settling onto the bed with Mel in his arms. "God, she's perfect. I mean, Lori's cute, too, but Melody..."
She laughed. "Well, teal's a good color on me. But, yeah, that dress had an awful shape. I looked 15 pounds heavier. Not exactly sexy."
