"Giving birth was the most painful thing ever. And Dave was just as exhausted as me because he would wait on me day and night the past month when the doctor ordered me to stay in bed." Erin explained, with a sigh. Melody finished up, and she placed her baby into a fancy bassinet next to the bedroom and cleaned herself off. "You brought pancakes?" She was starved.
Eli sighed, running a hand through his hair. "I love them all so much, regret is the last thing I'm feeling. It was unfortunate that everything was so rushed htough. I told Trixie that if the play was a success, which I think it will be, I'd throw her a dream wedding." He handed David the newspaper.

Trixie looked at the bassinet a little enviously, but kept it in check and nodded. "Yeah, better get some before the boys eat 'em all. There's bacon, too." She finished feeding Lori, then placed her in the middle of Erin and David's bed, surrounding her in pillows so she couldn't roll away.
David took the paper, reading it. He grinned. "Man, I'm sorry we haven't gotten out to see it yet! But by the looks of things, it'll be running a while. Congratulations!"

Erin walked into the kitchen and began shoveling pancakes into her mouth.
Eli grinned and handed her the paper. "See here! Extra extra!"
Erin swallowed and smiled. "yay Eli!" she hugged him. "Congrats. And also, Lori is beautiful. Mazel tov!"

((Haha, YES!! I sort of see Lori as kind of a free-loving, wild child, hippie chick before there were hippies. And compared to Melody's borderline prissy-ness...oh man!))
