Trixie was sniffling and tearing and trying very hard not to turn into a blubbering mess. She laughed at the bit about sneaking into a musical, then cried all over again when he said he couldn't wait for more babies. And then it was her turn. She hadn't written anything down, because she wouldn't have been able to read it anyway, but she'd spent days deciding on what to say.
"Eli, I was sixteen when I met you, and you were the nicest, funniest, most genuine guy I'd ever met. I was real scared at first, 'cause you're kinda overwhelmin' sometimes, but sittin' on that beach in Florida watchin' the sunrise...I knew I loved you. It's been four years since Florida, two years since we got married, and I still love you the same way I did then. More, even, 'cause you gave me my babies." She sniffled, tearing up. "I love ya more than anything Eli. And I want more babies, and a hundred more years with you." And then she nearly broke down completely.

"Trix!" Eli was laughing at her, and he scooped Duncan up, thrusting Duncan at her. "Hug your Mama real tight Duncan so she stops crying enough to kiss me."

She laughed, taking hold of Duncan and giving him a loud kiss on his cheek. She set him back down, then threw her arms around his neck, kissing him soundly.

Trixie grinned, kissing him, kicking her leg up as he dipped her. Duncan giggled, clapping along with everyone else.

"Now LET'S EAT!" Eli announced, fist in the air and scooping up Duncan, who mimicked his father's hand motion.

Trixie laughed, taking Lori from Charlotte so she could cuddle her. They made their way to their table. "I have to go feed the baby."

"I gotta schmooze with all these guests," He replied, kissing her again, and then kissing Lori. "When you get back, we'll start the drinking and the eating."

She kissed him again for good measure, then went off to feed Lori. One of the younger girls had agreed to babysit at the party, so she gladly took Lori to put her down for a nap as Trixie when back out to the party.

Eli was at the bar, taking a shot of whiskey with Max, Luke, and a couple of other guys. Erin handed Duncan to one of the chrous girls.

Trixie made her way over, smirking. "Gettin' my husband drunk, huh?"
David brought a glass of punch to Erin, smiling. "Here you go. No champagne, you're breastfeeding."

Luke chuckled. "Oh come on. You love drunk Eli as much as the rest of us."
"In 4 months, I'm totally getting wasted," She warned, taking a sip of her punch and grinning at him.

Trixie smirked. "Drunk Eli is the reason we got Duncan." But she slid her arm around Eli's waist, grinning.
David laughed, rolling his eyes dramatically. "Yes, ma'am." He kissed her cheek. "You're kinda sexy when you're drunk, anyway."
