Hawk nodded to Monday, hands in his pockets. He put on a tough front, but he was a little worried to be off of Brooklyn's grounds. He didn't have the advantage here, and this worried him, although he refused to show it.

Monday smirked a little broader and gestured behind him. "Priest is back here, he really wants to meet ya." He turned and headed back toward the door, talking over his shoulder. "Want a drink? Must'a been a long walk from Brooklyn."
Beside Monday, Straits chuckled menacingly. The Queens boys couldn't say for certain that Hawk and his gang were uneasy out of their element, but it couldn't hurt to make them a little wary.

Hawk shook his head, but Finn and Lenny both accepted drinks. Hawk just lit his cigarette, his eyes looking around the bar.

Monday led the group through the bar and into the door at the back, nodding at Baz to return to his post as guard. He gave a quick knock, then went inside, gesturing for the others to follow.
George Priest, seated like a king on a Chesterfield sofa, glanced up from the paper he was reading and grinned broadly. "Ah, Monday, you finally brought the mysterious Mr. Hoffman!"

Hawk smirked, nodding at The Priest. "the pleasures all mine." He took out a paper from his pocket and placed it on the table in front of him.
It was all of Birdie's info, with times they had seen her and the exact location of the Duane st LH. "Consider that a freebie." he had bigger things to ask for.

Priest leaned forward, folding up his newspaper and looking impressed. "This is a big help, Mr. Hoffman," he said with a smile, then gestured for him to take a seat. "I imagine you have some requests of your own, however?"

Hawk sat down, spreading his legs out lazily in front of him. "Maybe. That all depends though. What kind of operation are you running here?"

Priest sat back against the sofa and folded his arms over his chest with a grin. "Oh, we just help out those in our neighborhood who find themselves short of funds now and again. And the boys here make sure we get our money, in the end." He glanced over Hawk's shoulder at Monday and smirked. "It's all perfectly innocent."

"Sounds like it," Hawk responded, as Finn took a seat next to him. "My pal Finn here does a good job getting people to do things he wants. Doncha Finny?"
Finn snorted, crossing his arms over his chest and drinking a beer. "I do what Hawk here tells me to do."
Hawk smirked. "If you want to extend your services to Brooklyn, we'd be happy to oblige."

"We were looking toward Manhattan in the near future, but I think Brooklyn would be a good first step, don't you agree?" Priest showed his teeth as he smiled. "But first we have one or two loose ends to take care of here in Queens."
Monday circled around the couch and took a seat on the armrest, lighting up a cigarette. Priest watched him move, then turned back to Hawk, all smiles. "But I think I need to ask you, Mr. Hoffman -- what exactly is your price for such assistance?"

"If it's true what they say about you," Hawk began, "all I want is your loyalty. Back-up, let's say, for if...actually, when....my gang suddenly gets...attacked."

Priest chuckled. "Mr. Hoffman, I think that this is the beginning of a very profitable friendship." He sat forward, putting his arms on his knees and smirking. "And I don't let anybody mess with my friends."

Hawk grinned, reaching forward to offer his hand. "Then you, Mr. Priest, you have got yourself a deal. Just let me know what you need me and the boys to do."
Hawk couldn't believe his luck. If Tristan and Spot actually attacked, they are the ones now that might get killed...

((Inter-borough rumble! )) Priest shook his hand with another laugh. "What I need you and your boys to do, Mr. Hoffman, is to go find our little Miss Birdie Sims and bring her back here." He sat back in his seat and shrugged. "It should be easy enough for you."

Hawk smirked. "We can deliver all right." Hawk glanced at Finn, who was already on his feet. "We'll see you soon."
