She gave him a small wave in return, but her insides flipped uncomfortably. It seemed that every time she opened up about how he made her feel, he laughed it off. Like it was a joke.

Later that day, Eli walked to his van after school let out, to a bunch of guys making fun of it.
"Hey scholarship kid. Nice piece of junk you're driving." One of the guys said, laughing as he leaned against his black mustang.
"Hey asshole, you do realize that Daddy can't buy you a bigger penis, right?" Eli responded, rolling his eyes at them.

Eli blinked at him, tossing his backpack in his van and licking his lips, then crossing his arms over his chest, walking over to the guy. "You got a lot of nerve, cockbrain. I'd almost be impressed if you weren't such a tool."
Some of the other guys laughed, and the main guy glared. "At least I don't fuck the first rich slut that throws herself at me at my new school."
Eli punched him.

Natalie gasped and hurried over, grabbing Eli's arm. "Eli, don't! You'll get kicked out!" She shot a look of pure malice at the guys from over her shoulder as she tried to push Eli away and towards her car.

Although Natalie was right and he got into his van, slamming the door.
