Lori winked. "No sense in bothering you with it Daddy. You'd just tell Aunt Erin, anyway." She leaned up and kissed his cheek, then ran out. "Bye, Daddy!" She walked down the block towards where she always met Melody.

"Or Uncle Davey! Why does no one think we talk!" Eli called out after her, sighing and then went off to clean their loft and get back to writing.
Melody meanwhile, hurried to meet with up Lori. "Morning!" she greeted, wrapping her bag around her shoulders. "you are so lucky you have sisters. My brothers are annoying."
