Chris was sitting in class, already looking bored (though he secretly loved school -- but he had a reputation to maintain). His head was propped up by his fist, his other hand tapping a pencil annoyingly on the desk. He did like school, but really the only class he loved was art. His sketchbook was sitting in his backpack, just waiting to be opened and drawn all over. He let out a small sigh just thinking about it.

Lori slid into the seat beside them. She'd always really gotten along with Chris. He was smart and artistic. Totally her type.

"Hey, Lori," he replied, not moving from his position. He liked Lori. She was nice and he felt comfortable around her. She was pretty, too, but his parents kept talking about how he was too young for a girlfriend, so he didn't even bother.
